We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Pricing Analyst
to join our AgriSolutions team.
In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and implementing pricing strategies that optimise sales, market share, and profitability.
You will be responsible for analysing product performance, market conditions, and competitor pricing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align pricing strategies with overall business goals.
This is a full-time position based out of our Labrador office and reporting to the Procurement Manager.
Key responsibilities associated with this role include:
Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimise sales, market share, and profitability.
Analyse product performance, market conditions, and competitor pricing to adjust prices effectively.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing strategies align with business objectives.
Evaluate the impact of pricing strategies on sales and profitability.
Identify opportunities to optimise pricing across product categories and channels.
Develop pricing tactics to respond to changes in market conditions and competitive actions.
Work closely with merchandising, marketing, and sales teams to ensure cohesive pricing strategies.
Provide insights and recommendations on pricing to support product promotions, markdowns, and other sales initiatives.
To be considered for the role, we are very keen to meet candidates who may have 1-3 years' experience and who may have demonstrated experience in or recent exposure to:
Proven experience in retail pricing analysis and strategy development.
Strong data analysis skills – collecting, analysing and interpreting datasets.
Market and competitor research experience including industry trends and competitive pricing strategies.
Interpersonal and communication skills that support collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Risk management and compliance ensuring pricing activities comply with company policies and relevant legislation.
