About the role: In this role, you will support the Pricing Team by analysing data and providing insights on price setting for both commercial and consumer customers. This will involve breaking down commercial customer spend patterns across regions to better understand market rates and provide recommendations on pricing adjustments that will drive profitable sales growth. Additionally, this role will also require detailed analysis of competitor consumer pricing activity to identify trends, historical Temporary Price Reduction data, and sales patterns to influence retail pricing decisions.
What's involved: Development of commercial and consumer price setting strategy through analytics and insights to support margin improvement & sales growth.Collate and provide commercial contract and pricelist pricing insights & improvements.Ensure high quality, timely, accurate, and relevant monthly and periodic information (financial, commercial, and statistical) for all key stakeholders, ensuring they have a strong understanding of performance and future trajectory, including the provision of ad-hoc, weekly, and monthly reporting.Maintain reporting which is aligned to the pricing strategic agenda of the business whilst providing insights to assist decision making.Develop and maintain key business relationships within Commercial, Data & Analytics, and Merchandising.Who we're looking for: You are an analytical, outcome-driven problem solver who is flexible & adaptable in your approach to work and possesses excellent stakeholder management & communication skills. You are adept at carrying out analysis to identify opportunities and drive business growth and are able to design and conduct valid analysis.
You'll need: Postgraduate qualification or equivalent in a business or analytical discipline.Demonstrated commercial experience.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.Power Query, DAX, and SQL highly desired.Working experience in data wrangling; data visualisation skills highly desired (Power BI preferred).Financial Modelling Experience (desired).We're here to support you.
