We are seeking a detailed orientated Pricing Analyst to join our Analytics team at Australian Venue Co. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and profitability across our extensive venue network by analysing pricing strategies and market trends. Reporting to the head of Analytics, this role will work very closely with senior executives across Marketing, Operations and Finance
Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed analysis of pricing data, including competitive benchmarking, cost analysis and market trends, to optimize pricing strategies. Identify opportunities for pricing optimisation to maximise profitability while ensuring competitiveness in the market.Collaborate with venue managers and marketing teams to develop pricing models that maximize profitability while maintaining competitiveness in the market.Monitor and evaluate pricing performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management. Analyse variances and trends to assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies and make recommendations for adjustments as needed to achieve revenue targetsImplement pricing adjustments based on analysis and market conditions to drive revenue growth.Utilize data-driven approaches and analytical tools to forecast and simulate pricing scenarios.Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline pricing processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve decision-making efficiency. Implement best practices and tools to support ongoing price optimization efforts.Desired Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Pricing Analyst, revenue management or in a similar analytical role, preferably within the hospitality or retail sector.Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and business intelligence software.Good at finding the right granularity – keeping momentum without losing accuracy in analysis and reporting.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.The benefit to you!
