Facilities Operations OverviewFacilities Operations is responsible for construction, operations, and maintenance of all facilities on main campus and off-campus satellite facilities. This position maintains and develops the preventative maintenance program to ensure that all equipment is being serviced on scheduled intervals to ensure normal life cycle of equipment in the most efficient way.Key ResponsibilitiesProject tracking and reconciling for renovation and new construction projects.Maintains organized online filing for all projects.Processes, tracking, and reconciling of all project costs associated with renovations/new buildings.Works with Sponsored Programs on grant-related projects to ensure proper documentation is provided in a timely manner.Modifies and schedules preventative maintenance for all existing and new equipment with our IDN CMMS software, including roofing systems, to ensure they remain safe and well-maintained.Oversees the proper process and procedures for modifying existing, adding, or removing equipment/systems, including the completion and closing of projects/service requests.Includes training of internal staff as needed to ensure timely removal/addition of assets.Emergency preparedness and follow-up as needed.Other duties as assigned.Working HoursMonday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with occasional overtime as needed.Required QualificationsState of Florida driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record as per Florida Tech's insurance guidelines.Equal OpportunityFlorida Tech does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, genetic information, age, pregnancy, parenting status, veteran status, or retirement status in its activities and programs.
