We are always striving to display flexibility and resilience to embrace change.About The RoleThe Presenter Services Administration Officer is part of a team responsible for providing effective support in the delivery of high-quality services and experiences for presenters, hirers, and tenants.
In addition, this position acts as a contact for customers who utilize Geelong Arts Centre as their event destination from bookings through to settlement and event closure.Working alongside the Presenter Services team members, the Administration Officer provides support to ensure the end-to-end hirer experience is safe and sustainable, ensuring optimal use of spaces for performance, exhibitions, creative development, and the housing of creative industries.Skills and Experiences: Selection CriteriaEssential qualifications and experienceTo be successful in this position, you will have:Experience in events or venue administration in a cultural sector organisation (or related field).Experience in managing customer expectations and identifying customer needs.Proficiency with computers, particularly the Microsoft Office 365 suite.Ability to work autonomously in a small team environment.Skills and knowledge in the end-to-end administration of event services and event management systems and software.Highly developed communication and engagement skills and the ability to establish productive working relationships with a variety of people.Desirable qualifications and experienceProfessional qualification(s) in a relevant discipline.Experience working with event management software, rostering software, and/or raising purchase orders.Special RequirementsFlexibility in working hours to support daytime, evening, and some weekend work will be required as part of the normal hours of duty for this position.The following checks, licences, and certifications are required for this role:Current and valid Working with Children's Check (employee)Victorian Drivers LicenceSound like you?
