Job Description
The Preschool Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children .
This role involves managing staff, developing educational programs, and maintaining compliance with licensing regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Supervise and support preschool staff, including teachers and assistants.Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing professional development.Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork.Curriculum Development: Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities.Assess and adapt curriculum to meet the diverse needs of children.Encourage parental involvement in educational activities.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the preschool meets all local and state licensing requirements.Maintain accurate records for child enrollment, attendance, and assessments.Conduct regular safety inspections and implement health and safety protocols.Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, addressing concerns and providing updates on their child's progress.Organize and lead parent-teacher meetings and community events.Collaborate with local organizations and resources to enhance educational offerings.Financial Management: Prepare and manage the preschool budget, including tuition and funding proposals.Oversee purchasing of supplies and materials within budgetary constraints.Monitor enrollment and develop strategies for recruitment and retention.Working Conditions: Full-time positionMust be able to lift children and classroom materials as needed.Job RequirementsQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Master's preferred).Previous experience in early childhood education, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). #J-18808-Ljbffr
