Prep Chef/Kitchen Hand

We are one of Sydney's top artisan bakeries serving beautiful artisan bread, pastries, and cakes with an award-winning flagship café located in Chippendale.
This location has a fully equipped service kitchen, preparing breakfast and lunch.
We are currently seeking experienced PREP CHEFS and KITCHEN HANDS to join our team. This is an ideal position for someone who wants to advance their career as a chef.
ABOUT THE ROLE: Training provided Day shifts 4-5 shifts available per week Friendly & supportive team environment SHIFT AVAILABILITY REQUIREMENTS: Minimum commitment of 3-4 shifts each week, must include Friday and some weekend availability.
TASKS INCLUDE: Assisting chefs with service Food prep Preparation of sandwiches Running food Cleaning kitchen tools and equipment Organising rubbish and recycling General cleaning duties WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Good hygiene and knowledge of food and workplace safety Basic literacy and numeracy to read instructions Proficient spoken and written English Good physical fitness Able to work in a fast, efficient and organised manner ABOUT BRICKFIELDS: www.brickfields.com.au
