Position Overview:
We currently have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and capable Section Leader to join our Col Johnson & Co Operations team.
Who We Are Looking For:
Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, proactive leader with the ability to manage a team in a fast-moving environment and drive the successful performance of a section of the production.
Key Capabilities: Ability to work rostered hours consisting of Tuesday to Saturday, 6am start (Saturday & Wednesday off). Hold a forklift licence (highly regarded) or be driven to obtain a licence while employed. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Motivated to continuously improve processes and procedures. Ability to coordinate activities efficiently and effectively. Knowledge of WHS regulations and requirements. Responsibilities: Ensuring orders are packed and picked according to all appropriate procedures. Organising production activities ensuring objectives and targets are achieved within required time frames. Collaborating with the quality department to ensure assurance and systems compliance. Optimising current processes and instigating continuous improvement activity. Providing leadership and daily direction for staff of your section. Driving the WHS program, ensuring the team follows all appropriate safety systems and processes.
