We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Pre-Preparatory Assistant Educators to join our dynamic team in January 2025. As an integral part of our early learning community, you will play a key role in nurturing and supporting children during their foundational years, fostering a love for learning in a safe and supportive environment.
Position Details Assistant Educators Part Time, Term Time 22 hours per week Monday, Wednesday and Friday - 10.30am-2.30pm Tuesday and Thursday – 10.30am – 3.30pm Induction Date: 21 January 2025 Responsibilities The Assistant Educator provides teachers and students with a high level of classroom assistance and support across the Pre-Preparatory School. The position actively supports identification and delivery of the Centre's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and acts as an ambassador for St Hilda's Pre-Preparatory.
Minimum Requirements The successful candidate must possess the following requirements:
Relevant qualifications such as a Diploma of Education Support, Certificate III or IV in Education Support Demonstrate an understanding of the educational, social, and emotional needs of children, including those with learning needs Experience working with children who possess different abilities, pace of learning, and learning styles Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents At least 3 years experience working in a school environment (kindy/preschool experience) Be willing to take on professional development and attend team meetings as required Applications close 10.00am Monday 18 November 2024.
