Collectively, Arca's Members account for well over 95% of all regulated consumer lending in Australia and several of Arca's Members currently offer BNPL products.Role and ResponsibilitiesAs the PRDE Compliance Manager, you will have the opportunity to work across industry participants, navigating and developing a sophisticated understanding of the implementation of industry rules and frameworks across a range of organisations. You will help guide change across the industry, supporting a wide range of organisations as they seek to align with others and manage their obligations under the Principles of Reciprocity and Data Exchange (PRDE), the industry code for the sharing of comprehensive credit reporting data.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering solutions through collaboration with others and is looking to utilise and build on their existing compliance/risk or regulatory skills.In this role, you will be managing the day-to-day operation of the PRDE compliance framework, including providing guidance to signatories/prospective signatories and, when necessary, supporting action for non-compliance. The operation of the PRDE and the broader credit reporting sector are currently under review, which will likely provide new opportunities to make positive change to existing processes/governance frameworks resulting from the recommendations of the reviews.You will be learning alongside a supportive team, where, over time, you will become one of the 'experts' in the PRDE and credit reporting, and one of the main points of contact for stakeholder queries and support.This role will be an Australian based full-time permanent position, primarily working from home. This role will report to Arca's General Manager, PRDE & Industry Policy.PRDE ResponsibilitiesManaging PRDE compliance.Playing a critical role in the PRDE compliance process through the day-to-day management of the PRDE dispute process and attestation, reviewing material provided by signatories, and working with signatories on appropriate outcomes.Assisting Arca's PRDE & Industry Policy General Manager in responding to signatory queries relating to the PRDE and how to comply.Drafting documents to support ongoing PRDE compliance processes or changes.Actively assisting in the design and delivery of changes to the PRDE compliance framework.Engaging with prospective and existing PRDE signatories, documenting that engagement and actioning outcomes required by that engagement.Qualifications and ExperienceA solid background in the consumer credit industry and/or policy development in the financial services, privacy, or other regulated sectors.Experience collating relevant information from a variety of sources.Experience in compliance, credit management, consumer credit law, and stakeholder management in a professional membership association context.Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, e.g., business, commerce, law.Skills:Critical thinker.Strong interpersonal/relationship building and engagement.Collaborative and transparent.Attention to detail.Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.Organised and able to meet deadlines.Proficient with the Office suite of products.Personal Attributes:Comfortable with taking responsibility and being accountable.Self-motivated and well suited to a working from home environment.Team player.Pro-active.Flexible.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How much notice are you required to give your current employer?
