As we experience rapid growth, we are looking for a highly experienced Senior Cloud Operations Administrator to join our team.
As a Senior Cloud Operations Administrator, you will be working in a team who are responsible for the building, management, and administration of our Corporate Azure cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Enhance, manage, and maintain our Azure cloud infrastructure, including monitoring and troubleshooting issues. Create and manage virtual machines, storage accounts, and other Azure resources. Implement security measures to protect our data and systems. Develop and maintain documentation of system processes and procedures. Evaluate and automate the scaling and capacity requirements within Azure environments. Troubleshoot and resolve Azure environment performance issues, connectivity issues, security issues, etc. Work with teams to integrate Azure infrastructure components into processes and procedures and implement new environments in the Azure cloud. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field is desirable. Minimum 5 years' experience in Azure cloud administration. Strong experience in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining Microsoft Azure solutions in accordance with best practice Azure Landing Zone model. Strong knowledge of Backup, Restore, Recovery and high availability strategies for Microsoft Azure environments. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Azure environment. Understanding of working in a DevOps environment with a strong emphasis on Infrastructure as Code. Experience with automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI and Bicep. Strong understanding and background of working with a complex Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP alongside knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Kerberos and Windows Authentication. Knowledge of Network and TCP/IP routing/subnetting, alongside understanding of network equipment/IOS: routing, switching, and firewalls. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Government (Defence) Security Clearance up to NV -1.
