Your opportunity
As a Practice Support Officer, you will ensure the service delivery roles within Home and Allied health are supported with the intake and administration of referrals and the allocation of services.
The key area of focus for this position is to:
Ensure appropriately skilled staff are rostered at the right time to deliver patient care to clients in their own homes.Ensure the right number of staff, with the relevant skills/qualifications, are scheduled to work at the right time in the right geographical location.Ensure the schedules created are aligned to forecasted requirements.Reschedule cover of unplanned changes in staff availability. You will bring previous experience working in a large scale omni-channel planning/rostering environment.
With proven skills in time management, multi-tasking and prioritising, you are able to work effectively in a multi-faceted team and equally as an autonomous operator.
Experience in leave planning & scheduling to ensure continuity of service delivery is essential together with:
Demonstrated ability to undertake detailed work & maintain information within systems with a high degree of accuracy.Personal accountability and commitment to timely delivery of quality output.High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (experience with Access and SQL would be advantageous).Initiative, proactive attitude, with ability to multitask between phones, emails & scheduling and truly 'think outside the box'.Ability to thrive under tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment.Availability to work between 7.00am and 8.00pm across a 7-day roster.
