The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.
The Goodna Clinic was established in 2014 in response to the large and unmet health and related needs of a large and growing population of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Goodna region.
About the Role?
The position is responsible for the provision of effective and efficient administration and service coordination to contribute to the achievement of IUIH Goodna Clinics business objectives, including increased practice patient numbers, attendance rates and billings.
Your day-to-day duties include: Provide training, development and mentorship for receptionists & Identify opportunities for growth of reception staff Support an environment that fosters teamwork, cooperation, respect, and diversity Always establish and maintain positive communication and professional demeanour with staff.
Assume responsibility for ensuring efficient and productive use of calendars.
Ensure Reception team are following defined booking procedures Conduct regular reviews of calendars to ensure billing opportunities have been maximised Work with the Service Development team to highlight needs in relation to ongoing development, documentation and implementation of the IUIH model of Care Implement practices to achieve high booking and attendance rates for multi-disciplinary service provider appointments Contribute to the development and ongoing refinement of referral and follow-up pathways between local clinics and multi-disciplinary service providers About You?
