Practice Nurse

We are looking for an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse who has permanent residency in Australia to join our General Practice in Neutral Bay.Regular Mon-Fri work in a lovely environment with comprehensive on-the-job training and ongoing clinical support.Requirements:Understanding of the Australian Healthcare systemCurrent AHPRA registrationPermanent working rights with no restrictionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize your workload and confidence in working autonomouslyThe ideal candidate:Permanent resident of Australia (please do not apply if you are on a travel visa)Passionate about providing healthcare to othersAppropriate level of clinical experienceCaring and attentive attitude towards patients and other staffStrong work ethic with willingness to learnHighly organized & able to multitask in a clinical environmentJob tasks and responsibilities include:Triage and assessment of patientsImmunisation, including cold chain management of vaccinesECGs, Spirometry, Wound management, Ear syringing, Pre-employment medical testsAssisting with minor proceduresHealth Assessments and Care PlansMaintaining recall and reminder systemSubstantial on-the-job training will be provided. You will be supported by nurses from within our group.
