THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an exciting opportunity to manage and innovate practices with a leading Periodontist who has served the Sydney community for over 20 years.
You'll have the unique opportunity to be a foundational part of the practice's growth and expansion.
You'll manage the current fully functional Sydney CBD practice and work closely with the Principal Periodontist to help establish a new Parramatta practice and ensure continued smooth operation and management of both practices.
This role offers a chance to work across both locations (you'll split your days between Sydney CBD and Parramatta), with a focus on patient management, team leadership, and business growth.
This position is full-time/5 days per week.

Key responsibilities

Practice Management: Oversee day-to-day operations across both the Sydney CBD and Parramatta clinics, ensuring the highest standards of service and patient care.
Innovate and Create: Help lead the set-up of the Parramatta practice and make improvements and refinements in the Sydney CBD practice wherever you spot an opportunity
Patient Relations: Build strong relationships with patients, handle treatment plans, advise on costs, and ensure a seamless patient experience.
Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage practice staff, ensuring a cohesive and motivated team environment.
Clinical Assistance: Step in as a Dental Assistant if needed, ensuring the smooth operation of clinical activities. There will be Dental Assistants however you'll also need to be ready to provide assistance if the Dental Assistants are unavailable.
Practice Development: Drive the growth of both clinics, manage patient flow, and engage in marketing activities.
Operational Support: Manage clinic supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships, and handle administrative tasks such as rostering and writing patient correspondence.
Flexibility: Work closely with the Periodontist, following his schedule between clinics and taking on ad hoc tasks as required.

ABOUT YOU
You will be a proactive and people-centric professional with demonstrated experience managing a dental or specialist practice.
Strong people skills and a natural ability to build rapport with patients and staff are essential. You should be ready to take ownership, drive growth, and contribute to building a high-performing team.

Experience managing a specialist dental clinic or a high-performing general dental practice.
Prior experience as a Dental Assistant so you can step in where necessary
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in patient relations.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities, including stepping into clinical roles when necessary.
Prior experience with dental practice management software
Team-oriented mindset, with a focus on collaboration and proactive problem-solving.
