Knowledge and skills include: Skillful in administrationAdvanced computer skills (knowledge of Best Practice and Front Desk software an advantage)Knowledge of Medicare MBS, Tyro and HICAPSExcellent time management with strong attention to detailStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize and multitaskAbility to work independently and within a teamFlexibility and reliability with a strong work ethicPolice ClearanceCPRJob Description: Supervising the day-to-day operations of the practiceSupervising administrative staffCoordinate staff employment and rosters, including annual leave cover and arranging locum cover for clinical staff when necessaryMonitoring inventory and placing orders for resupplyInteracting with patients and addressing any concerns or complaintsSupervising recall/reminder, scanning, filing, and faxing patient correspondenceConducting regular staff meetings and performance reviewsWorking as a team to ensure the practice runs effectively and meets objectivesBatching/rejection, Medicare and Veterans AffairsUnderstanding of medical terminology, medical and allied health professional organizations, and relevant stakeholdersHave the ability to demonstrate and encourage leadership and teamworkOther Duties: Attend training sessions in-house and external courses when requiredGeneral housekeeping such as tidying and cleaning of waiting room etc. when necessaryTo undertake other duties as required from time to time by the Practice Manager, Nurses, and DoctorsKnowledge of occupational health and safety principles including infection controlConsistently be aware of OHS requirements and comply with themYour application will include the following questions:
