The Practice Manager works under the direction and with the support of the Business Owner/Associate, with outsourced IT and Bookkeeping, allowing you to concentrate on your passion for day to day management, team building and clinic enhancement.
You will provide quality services to our team and our patients, ensuring daily operations are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities of the Practice Manager Work with the Associate to develop and implement strategies for achievement of the practice's vision and goals Coordinate staff to ensure adequate coverage of positions and arrange cover for sick and annual leave Recruitment, development and management of Reception staff, Nurses & GPs Oversee appropriate and correct Billings including Medicare & Workcover Assist with Finance and Payroll operations Maintain appropriate human resources systems and a safe work environment Managing GP Registrars and processes/procedures within RACGP & ACRRM Coordinate staff meetings, chair regular practice meetings and special practice meetings as required Develop, maintain and annually update appropriate practices and procedures for the business Solution focused management of clinic operations and practice queries Manage practice re-Accreditation every 3 years Skills and Knowledge Previous management experience in a General Practice or other medical specialist environment highly desirable Proven success in leading and engaging a multidisciplinary team, building and managing professional relationships with employees and contractors.

Demonstrated ability to manage the demands of the day-to-day operation of the practice; this requires adaptability, the ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
The role is patient-focused and requires excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
Diploma of Practice Management Qualification or similar is desirable.
