As a team, they are focused on providing the highest quality client-centred care, underpinned by their guiding values.Our client, a respected business in the Psychology industry, is currently looking for an experienced Practice Manager to join their team.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role focuses on the smooth running of the office, which includes staff management, budget and administrative requirements of the business, in addition to supporting the Managing Director.
It is an operational role responsible for coordinating and performing the day-to-day clinic operations, payroll/HR tasks required to keep the business running smoothly.Tasks include, but are not limited to:Leads and manages administration and support staff.Onboarding, offboarding, and underperformance management.Oversees workplace health and safety.Change management.Proactive strategic business and administrative planning.Consistent implementation of practice policies, processes, procedures, and systems.Identifies opportunities, formulates plans, and drives business growth.Adheres to budgets, monitors income and expenses.Reports business KPIs weekly, analyses and utilises data to successfully lead and manage the administrative team.Ensures all practice programs consistently run at maximum capacity.Chairs team meetings and oversees the varied practice programs.Develops and implements policies and procedures for quality improvement, to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.Administrative management.Oversees daily practice operations, including appointment scheduling, billing procedures, and timely debt collection.Maintains accurate payroll records for employees in compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.Liaises with payroll and accounts to ensure accuracy of batch payments and payroll.Ensures all payroll-related data such as hours worked, leave accruals, and benefits are accurately recorded and updated.Maintains and oversees leave processes.Other HR/Payroll administrative tasks as required, including written communications regarding changes to employment.Provides the main point of contact for all payroll queries across the business' branches.Oversees the business' risk management practices as they relate to administration.Management of the business' insurances, leases, repairs and maintenance, and other administrative commitments.Provides administrative support to senior management and others as required.Proactively identifies and implements training needs.Ensures administrative manuals are updated.Organises repairs and maintenance and liaises with landlords as required.Skills and experience:Demonstrated experience in a similar position.Highly developed leadership and management skills.Strong knowledge of HR, payroll processes, regulations, and best practices.Previous experience in a health environment.High level computer skills (MS Office suite & accounting software).Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.High level customer service skills.Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost integrity and discretion.Strong work ethic and shows initiative.Excellent time management and organization skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.Able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously.Experience working with Medicare.Experience with the NDIS is beneficial.How to apply:If you believe you have the skills to excel in this role and are excited by a challenge, please forward your application to ****** note, only successful applicants will be contacted.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a practice manager?How many years of people management experience do you have?Do you have experience in administration?How many years of payroll experience do you have?Do you have customer service experience?Which of the following Microsoft Office products are you experienced with?To help fast track investigation, please include here any other relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent / misleading / discriminatory.
