We are seeking a motivated and experienced Practice Manager to join our dynamic accounting firm. This key role involves overseeing the administration team across our three office locations (and growing), ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and supporting the leadership team in the implementation of firm-wide projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and committed to improving efficiency and delivering excellent client service.

As our Practice Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the firm while driving strategic initiatives. You will oversee administrative functions across three offices and work closely with the leadership team to implement firm-wide projects, improve efficiencies, and ensure compliance. This is a varied role, perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating a positive, productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the support services team to ensure all tasks are completed on time and to a high standardCollaborate with the leadership team on strategic planning, firm-wide projects, and performance reportingManage the development and implementation of practice policies and proceduresEnsure effective recruitment, onboarding, and staff trainingFacilitate HR matters, performance reviews, and staff developmentGeneral facilities and practice managementLead marketing and social media strategies to drive brand awarenessCoordinate and deliver staff team days and internal training sessionsParticipate in and lead project work to improve firm-wide systems and processesAssist the director and accountants with high-end compliance understanding and reportingAbout You: Strong business acumen with a proven ability to manage multiple office locations and teamsPrevious experience in a business or practice management role, ideally within an accounting firmHighly organised, with a keen eye for detail and excellent time management skillsStrong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and manage a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approachProficient in Xero and CAS360 or willing to learn (training provided)Ability to problem-solve and make informed decisions to improve firm efficienciesDriven by a commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and high ethical standardsA proactive approach with the initiative to suggest and implement new processesUnderstanding of compliance requirements and marketing strategies is advantageousMinimum of 6 years of experience in a business manager, practice manager, or similar roleExperience managing administrative operations across multiple officesDemonstrated experience in executing project work through to completionDriving operational improvements and efficiencies no matter the barriersUnderstanding of accounting software and processes is beneficialA collaborative team player who contributes to a positive, happy workplaceHow to Apply For a confidential discussion regarding the role with Total Business Partners, please submit your cover letter and resume using the 'Apply' link.
