Goodstart Early Learning is currently seeking a Practice & Inclusion Partner to join our team in Townsville.
You will be a critical enabler of the region's practice uplift goals, providing coaching and advice on all matters pertaining to quality, inclusive Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC). You will share your skills and experiences with centre teams as you support their teaching, learning, and inclusion for all children, working in an integrated and holistic way to enhance every child's outcome. In partnership with the Centre Director, Educators, and families, you will engage and support the most vulnerable children and families and focus on targeted capacity building strategies to enhance all children's learning.
Your Impact: Be the first point of call for all Goodstarters nationally through providing on-demand and responsive support, delivered virtually through our Practice and Inclusion Helpdesk.Share your skills and experiences with centre teams as you support their teaching and learning for all children, including children with additional needs – tier 1, delivered in a manner that builds capability in our centre teams.Work directly with a selected group of centres in the delivery of their Quality Improvement Plan actions by coaching and modelling to build sustainable teaching and learning for all children capability in our centre teams.Provide specialist inclusion advice and consultancy to centre leadership teams to enable high-quality targeted and intensive inclusion support in accordance with approved processes.Work collaboratively within the Teaching Learning and Support team to ensure targeted and intensive strategies are implemented as intended and monitored and evaluated for effectiveness.Educate, coach, and support centre teams and around centre support teams to implement and review targeted and intensive inclusion strategies to meet child and family needs.Contribute to safeguarding children in line with organisational expectations and procedures (e.g., responding to critical incidents and child wellbeing).What Goodstart can offer you: Flexible work arrangements giving you choice about when and how work will be done in order to better manage your work and non-work needs (as agreed by Line Manager).Fully Maintained Company Car or Car Allowance, Laptop, and Phone.Access to discounted childcare (up to 15%).Discounted health care and access to employee wellbeing program with BUPA.Exclusive discounts on travel, gym memberships, Apple and Dell products, and more.Free annual flu shot (optional).Option to purchase extra leave for even greater work-life balance.First Nations Support and Cultural Leave.Work for a company that has an aspiration to be globally recognised for early years practice and learning outcomes.Gain significant investment in your growth and development with support, tools, training, and experiences that will truly enhance the progress and outcomes for children in their earliest years.Be a part of a team and work environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging, inclusion, and purpose.You'll bring to the table: A 4-year Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education from a recognised university.Demonstrated capability of supporting and coaching teams to deliver high quality, inclusive early learning.Extensive experience in delivering high quality, inclusive early learning (aged birth to 8 years).Experience in leading change and coaching high performing teams.Comprehensive knowledge of community and government networks/resources and proven skill in utilising these to develop partnerships, services, and programs.Comprehensive knowledge of policies, frameworks, and funding supports for children and families including the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standard, Inclusion Support Programme, National Disability Insurance Scheme, and relevant state-based funding mechanisms.Sound understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.Excellent communication, organisational, evaluation, and team leadership skills.How to apply: Click 'Apply Now' and submit your application.
