About the role The Practice Implementation Manager is responsible for the leadership of the Practice Quality Safeguards team.
The position will work within a continuous quality improvement approach, exploring opportunities to expand service offerings and work closely with the Head of Practice Innovation to embed and implement contemporary evidence-based practice, the Melba Way, across the organisation through a high-quality coaching framework. Responsibilities Implement Practice Strategy and Framework Provide specialist knowledge together with the Head of Practice Innovation to continually review Melba's practice framework, in line with contemporary evidence-based practices and the organisation's strategic imperatives. Support the implementation of Melba's practice framework through leadership of the Practice Quality Safeguards team. Implement and continually review contemporary evidence-based practices Implementation and ongoing review of Melba's coaching framework to facilitate embedding of con-temporary evidence-based practices at the point of service delivery, including a positive speaking-up culture and zero tolerance approach, to ensure that the human rights of people purchasing services from Melba are upheld. Positive Behaviour Support Services Develop and execute a strategy for the expansion of Melba's specialist positive be-haviour support services across the State. Oversee Melba's team of positive behaviour support practitioners, to provide NDIS specialist positive behaviour support services that meet agreed key performance indicators and all legislative and compliance requirements. Complex Health Support Services Oversee Melba's team of Complex Health Nurses, to provide secondary consultation in relation to people's health support needs through: Health care plan reviews Coaching support to staff to follow those plans Facilitate training to uplift staff competency across all areas relating to people's health support needs, including high intensity health support needs Support staff to navigate the health service system Scope and develop a business case for the commencement of NDIS billable disability health related supports and subject to approval oversee implementation of these billable services. Allied health and specialist services Develop and execute (subject to approval) a strategy for the commencement of billable allied health services as a service offering across the state. Explore opportunities for Melba to expand into other specialist service offerings, and where identified develop a strategy for the commencement of those services. Qualifications and Experience Relevant tertiary qualification in a human services discipline (e.g.
psychology, social work) Demonstrated ability to achieve results in system change that enhance the rights and lives of people living with a disability. Proven success in the implementation and delivery of person-centred approaches across an organisation's multi-disciplinary teams. Demonstrated ability to provide advice, training and coaching support to managers and staff. Demonstrated ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, external organisations, funding bodies and government agencies. The ability to manage competing priorities and to deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes and quality standards. Proficient ability in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a person-centred outcome focus. Strong skills in both formal and informal coaching. Working knowledge of the Disability Act 2006 (Vic) and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding framework, as relevant to the provision of disability services. You will also bring with you or be willing to obtain: A current NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check (we can support you through the process of obtaining one or both checks if you don't already have them).
