Admin / Secretarial / Office Support Administration Brisbane Permanent / Full Time 18/9/2024 Supportive team On the job training National mid-tier firm We're looking for a full time Practice Group Assistant to join our Banking and Finance team at Gadens in Brisbane.
Your responsibilities You will collaborate with other Practice Group Assistants, Legal Assistants, Paralegals and Lawyers to service clients.
Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to: File maintenance – opening, closing and archiving files (electronic and physical filing) Secretarial/administrative support to the team Assisting with paper settlements Basic drafting of documents and letters Attending to telephone calls and enquiries (incoming and outgoing) Preparation and collation of mail including scanning, faxing, and printing Other general financial and administrative tasks About you To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate: Previous administrative experience in a law firm or relevant transferrable administrative experience (property experience would be advantageous but not essential) a desire to be trained and learn from highly experienced colleagues a history of successfully working in a high volume, fast paced environment strong organisational skills and an ability to manage competing priorities and time constraints practically and effectively excellent written and verbal communication skills a team player and team first approach, with the ability to work with team members of varying levels About Gadens Gadens is a leading, independent Australian law firm, with a clear vision and strategy for the future.
