The Role We are looking for a Practice Assistant who is highly organized and dependable to join our rapidly growing business.
We are a diverse group, and are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, hard-working, and has a positive attitude.
Working full-time in our Sydney office, this role allows you to utilize your strong interpersonal and communication abilities, excellent administration and organizational skills, and to play an integral part in the office growth and overall group.
We're in search of someone who will embrace a variety of responsibilities that may come their way.
You will be supporting several Partners and fee earners, and your duties will include: Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to the Workplace practice group.
Diary management and extensive travel arrangements.
Prepare and organize legal documents, including correspondence, briefs, and trial materials.
Hard copy and e-filing.
Client liaison and communication.
Email management.
Billing and expense management.
Time entries.
Generating reports.
Maintain client and matter records and databases.
Ad hoc administrative duties including printing, scanning, and photocopying.
We're looking for someone: With 1+ years legal assistance experience With strong attention to detail and the ability to efficiently manage multiple stakeholders and priorities Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite, billing, and document management system skills Who is an effective communicator and possesses excellent organizational abilities Who is confident and self-motivated A proficient problem solver, adept at identifying and resolving challenges A commitment to providing a high level of administrative support to the team Collaborative, and able to work effectively as part of a team Who is an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident What's in it for you Opportunity for learning and development and internal career progression.
