About the role We are currently seeking a proactive Practice Assistant to join our Dispute Resolution team in Melbourne. Due to an internal move, this opportunity is being offered on a 6-month full-time contract basis. In this role, you will provide support to Partner, Ben Kiely and his friendly team.
The main responsibilities of this role include billing, managing legal documents, establishing and maintaining client relationships, handling financial administration, organising files, managing diaries, arranging travel, and providing general administrative assistance. We are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic and capable of handling this diverse range of responsibilities.
About You Minimum of 2 years in a legal support role (such as Legal Assistant, Practice Assistant, Legal Executive or Legal Secretary) Sound knowledge of the monthly billing process in a legal environment - experience with Elite highly regarded Typing speed of 70+ wpm Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to analyse, problem solve and apply appropriate use of judgement Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, choosing an appropriate style for their audience Well-developed interpersonal skills Why work with us?
