The role An exceptional opportunity awaits a Practice Administrator interested in joining a top-tier Australian law firm. This opportunity will be considered on a full-time role basis, however, we are open to discussing a 4-day working week. As an integral part of the team, this role involves providing support to the Partner and a team of legal practitioners, with a specific focus on supporting and managing high-level administrative responsibilities. This practice group boasts a collaborative and inclusive team culture and supports flexible working arrangements.
Key responsibilities Provide high-level secretarial and administrative support for a Partner and team of practitioners within our MPC Practice.High-level diary management with an emphasis on organising client meetings, including a proactive approach to reorganising commitments on a needs basis.Manage general accounts, monthly billing, client reporting, and expenses with a keen eye for detail.File management and handling, including the opening and closing of files and matters.Managing incoming correspondence, emails, and internal and external requests, as well as providing a proactive and efficient approach to producing correspondence without direction.Organising travel and associated scheduling and logistics arrangements.Work as part of a cohesive team of Practice Administrators supporting the wider MPC team and be willing to step in and assist other MPC team members during busy periods.Skills & Experience To excel in this role, we are seeking a candidate with:
Previous experience in an administrative and/or secretarial role, ideally in the legal sector.Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, especially in high-pressure situations.A flexible and proactive approach with a demonstrable drive to contribute to the business's profound success.The ability to build and nurture positive relationships with colleagues and clients.Advanced technical skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).Professionalism in communicating/organising meetings with high-level internal and external stakeholders.Proficiency in billing processes, with previous experience using Aderant Expert software desirable.How to Apply?
