As part of our commitment to nurturing the next generation of legal professionals, we are offering a Practical Legal Training (PLT) placement to support aspiring solicitors in completing their required training.
The chosen candidate will gain hands-on experience in a supportive and professional environment from experienced legal mentors. They will be exposed to a variety of legal matters and client interactions and there is potential for future career opportunities within the firm.
This position is ideal for someone fluent in both Mandarin/Cantonese and English.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting solicitors with legal research and drafting documents;
Attending client meetings and court appearances;
Preparing briefs, affidavits, and other legal documents;
Supporting the team in case management and file administration;
Performing general administrative tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the firm.
Requirements:
Enrolled in, or eligible to enroll in, a Practical Legal Training program;
Good work ethic with a pro-active and can-do attitude;
Attention to detail and organizational skills;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines;
Be able to work collaboratively with colleagues as well as individually;
A desire to expand and develop your knowledge in various fields of law.
