Job Description Develop and manage key client relationships within the media and agency sectors. Drive the strategic marketing direction for a portfolio of clients. Collaborate with the creative team to deliver innovative marketing solutions. Oversee project management to ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget. Present and communicate marketing strategies to clients and stakeholders. Utilise data to inform decision-making and improve client campaigns. Maintain industry knowledge to provide up-to-date and effective strategies. Contribute to the team dynamic, supporting team members and encouraging collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships. Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses, industries, and competitive landscapes. Campaign Development & Execution: Create and implement strategic PR and communications plans that align with clients' objectives. Coordinate and oversee the execution of PR campaigns, including media outreach, content creation, event planning, and social media management. Monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and provide regular reports to clients. Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts across various platforms. Secure media coverage in top-tier outlets to enhance clients' brand visibility and reputation. Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials. Content Creation: Develop compelling content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, social media updates, and more. Ensure all content is aligned with clients' brand voice and messaging. Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including creative, digital, and research departments, to deliver integrated communication solutions. Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance and feedback. Client Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports on campaign progress and results. Conduct regular review meetings with clients to assess campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed. The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Account Manager should have:
Relevant degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar role within the PR, media and agency sector. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong project management and organisational skills. Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships. Knowledge of current trends and best practices in marketing.
