DescriptionWe're seeking a proactive PR & Communications Executive with a curious and eager mindset to join Betashares to help elevate our brand presence through strategic communication and public relations efforts.
Reporting to the PR & Communications Director, this role will support the development and execution of public relations strategies and initiatives. This role involves assisting with media outreach, and assisting in the creation of engaging content that promotes the company's brand and goals – with a focus on mainstream, consumer, and trade media.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the development and implementation of PR strategies to enhance brand visibility – with a focus on mainstream, consumer, and trade media.Build and maintain relationships with relevant media representatives and influencers.Monitor media coverage and report on public relations outcomes.Coordinate press events, media interviews, and other promotional activities.Conduct/amplify research and research projects to identify trends and opportunities for media exposure.Support relationships with agencies.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.Track and analyse PR metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns. Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseBachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.3+ years of experience in PR or communications with an understanding of finance and investing.Excellent written and verbal communication skills – a knack for transforming technical topics into engaging media stories.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.Familiarity with media monitoring tools and PR software is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
