In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing our brand visibility and strengthening our public relations initiatives.
#### Responsibilities
As a PR Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at promoting TPG Telecom's brand, managing its public image, and engaging effectively with various stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include:
- **Media Relations:** Develop and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, pitch stories, and respond to inquiries to ensure positive media coverage for TPG Telecom.
- **Content Creation:** Write, edit, and oversee the production of press releases, media kits, and other regional communication materials. Ensure all content aligns with brand voice and messaging.
- **Campaign Management:** Assist in the planning, execution, and analysis of PR campaigns to enhance brand awareness and market penetration.
- **Social Media Management:** Collaborate with the digital marketing team to create aligned social media messaging and align PR campaigns with social media initiatives to maximize audience reach.
- **Event Coordination:** Help organize and participate in corporate events, media briefings, product launches, and other engagements that showcase TPG Telecom's values and products.
- **Stakeholder Engagement:** Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including community organizations, local governments, and influencers, to foster collaborative relationships.
- **Research & Analysis:** Conduct market research and monitor competitor activity, analyzing trends to inform PR strategy and tactics.
- **Reporting:** Provide regular reports on PR activities, media coverage, and campaign performance metrics to the senior management team.
#### Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- **Experience:** Minimum of 4 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field, with a proven track record in media relations and campaign management.
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- **Personality Traits:** Must be highly motivated and energetic, with a passion for storytelling and brand advocacy.
- **Soft Skills:**
- **Planning:** Ability to strategize and prioritize effectively to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- **Decision-Making:** Comfort in making informed decisions quickly and efficiently, particularly in high-pressure situations.
