Are you passionate about procurement and ready to make an impact? We're seeking experienced Procurement Officers to join our team and play a vital role in our purchasing process. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective procurement practices.
You will:
Support the Purchasing Services team leader by providing guidance and coaching to Purchasing Officers Conduct sourcing activities and purchasing services for our regional or central hub, ensuring we get the best value for our money Use your knowledge of procurement to assess risks and choose the right purchasing methods for each situation Build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement processes Keep track of contracts and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies Promote our procurement processes and educate local businesses on how to work with us The community you will join:

Our Supply Chain Services provide pivotal support to our infrastructure project delivery & corporate services through the global sourcing and procurement of materials & services; positioning Powerlink as a world-class leader in the energy sector.
What you'll bring:
Diploma in Contracts, Purchasing or Business or a lesser qualification coupled with extensive experience within a procurement role We are looking for skilled professionals with experience in administering contractual requirements and understanding Conditions of Contract. You will be proficient in applying statutory legislation and regulations, reviewing and compiling supporting documents, and coordinating with stakeholders to achieve procurement outcomes.
You should have experience in conducting RFQ processes, negotiating commercially sound outcomes, and using MS Office Suite, record management systems, contract management systems, and ERP Systems (SAP highly regarded).
You must be able to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, work across diverse teams, and produce high-quality results through attention to detail and data analysis.
Knowledge of Queensland Procurement Policy and associated legislation is essential.
