Powerline Worker (Linesman)

MV Powerlines Pty Ltd is a locally owned and operated Powerline Distribution contracting company based in Shellharbour, NSW.
We are currently seeking a reliable, pro-active and experienced Powerline Worker to join our team.
This role is responsible for all types of skilled linework relevant to the construction and maintenance of both high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) distribution network assets and equipment.
This position is full time, based in Shellharbour, with work based across the Illawarra, greater Sydney and Shoalhaven.
The position will be based on a 72-hour/9-day fortnight and there will be regular opportunities for overtime.
Essential Criteria:
• Accredited Powerline Worker in Australia
• Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Overhead (or equivalent)

To be successful in this role you will require:
• CPR & Rescue from a Live LV Panel
• NSW Drivers Licence (MR or HR Truck Licence preferred)
• High Risk Licence - WP (EWP) - Highly desirable
• First Aid - Advantageous
• Work Zone Traffic Management - Advantageous
• Endeavour Energy and Essential Energy Authorised - Advantageous

• Must be safety orientated, conscientious, reliable
• Enjoy working in a team environment
• Be willing to work out of hours as required
• Be prepared to undertake a National Police Check and Medical
• Undertake all compulsory training
