About the job:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Microsoft Fabric + Power BI Developer to join our team.
In this role, you will leverage Microsoft Fabric for data integration, governance, and analytics, while utilising Power BI to deliver impactful visualisations and insights.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise in data engineering with strong business intelligence capabilities, transforming data into actionable solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring accuracy and usability.Build and manage data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric tools, such as Data Factory and Lakehouse.Implement ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into a unified structure.Create and optimise data models for analytics and reporting purposes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.Ensure data governance, security, and compliance across all projects.Conduct performance tuning for Power BI reports and data workflows to enhance scalability.Qualifications and Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in Power BI development and data engineering.Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric tools such as Data Factory, Lakehouse, SQL Databases.Expertise in Power BI, including advanced DAX, Power Query, and data visualisation techniques.Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data modelling, and database design.Experience with Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse Analytics.Advanced querying skills using SQL.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex data concepts.Microsoft certifications in Power BI, Fabric, or Azure-related services will be a plus.Additional Information: Location: Sydney, Australia.Eligibility: Candidates must have full working rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
