About the role:As a Power Worker (Trade Assistant), you will be a key contributor to the team, assisting our tradespersons with the construction, maintenance and associated activities on our overhead and underground electrical networks.About you: Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and external customers.You must have the ability to identify and understand customer needs.
Current manual 'C' class open driver licence.Availability for call out and emergency work as well as work overtime as required.Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work.Experience in safety observing and an ability to actively identify and implement risk control measures where needed.Ability to use Computers, iPads and iPhonesAbility to safely work at heights.Current High Risk Work Licence (forklift, dogman, rigger, EWP >11m, VLC, slewing crane) or the ability to obtain these qualifications.Current Heavy Rigid (HR) licence or the ability to obtain one prior to commencing.
