THE ROLEWe are looking for a Power System Engineer to join our team based in South Brisbane to take technical responsibility to perform and direct activities for power system studies in PSS/E, PSCAD, Powerfactory and Hypersim modelling environments.
Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience completing generator performance standard studies compliant with schedule 5 of the national electricity rules. Experience in communicating and negotiating with NSPs and AMEO will ensure your success in this position.
A strong understanding of preparing technical reports for the generator connection process, including generator performance standard studies, registration, and compliance testing will be a key element of this role.
Proficiency with designs, project controls, managing subcontractors, undertaking site inspections and developing cost effective engineering solutions will be required.
