Power Systems Engineer

The BusinessAustCorp Executive is working in partnership with a leading engineering consultancy.
The company specialises in project management and executing large-scale industrial projects across various sectors, including oil & gas, mining and renewable energy.The RoleThe role we are recruiting for is a Power Systems Engineer.
This person will be responsible for conceptual and detailed design, power system modelling and studies as well as commissioning support for the HV systems.ResponsibilitiesWorking on all aspects of electrical scope of work across all phases of projects including conceptual studies, FEED, detailed design and procurement through to commissioning.Design HV & LV generation, distribution, reticulation and control systems.Deliver power system studies including earth grid performance studies, load flow, fault levels, protection coordination and dynamic / transient system analysis.Detailed design of secondary control and protection systems.Provide guidance, coach and mentor engineers across the discipline.The RequirementsBachelor's or higher degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years proven technical experience.Extensive and proven technical experience in designing electrical systems for large scale installations across various industrial sectors.Demonstrated understanding of power system modelling with proficiency in electrical design and simulation tools such as SKM PTW, ETap, DigSilent PowerFactory, PSCAD, CYMCAP, CDEGS, etc.If you are looking for a career change and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across varied client industries, then please call Rob on 0423 022 992 or send your updated CV to ******.
