About the Role Due to our continued growth/success, we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced Power System Design Engineer to join our national projects teams.
Manage multiple electrical design projects simultaneously, from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports, to interpret design intent and requirements to construction teams and regulatory authorities.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on electrical design-related matters and provide regular project updates.Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in electrical engineering and incorporate them into design solutions to enhance project efficiency and performance.Implement QA/QC processes to review and verify the accuracy and completeness of electrical design drawings, calculations, and specifications.Oversee the functioning and upkeep of power stations, as well as transmission and distribution systems.Identify potential risks and challenges associated with electrical design elements of construction projects and develop mitigation strategies to address them effectively.Full-time permanent role with a salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 (Annually).About You The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
