Job Overview:
As a Solar Panel Roofer/Installer , you will be responsible for installing and maintaining solar panel systems on rooftops, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will help ensure that all installations are performed efficiently and in compliance with Australian standards. You will work with a team of professionals who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and sustainable energy solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities: Solar Panel Installation & Mounting:
Install solar panel systems, including racking and mounting equipment, on residential and commercial rooftops. Ensure the panels are securely fixed and positioned for optimal performance. Electrical Integration:
Assist in connecting solar panels to inverters. Roofing and Structural Work:
Work with various roof types (e.g., tile, metal, slate) and ensure that the roof structure is appropriate for the solar installation. Ensure minimal impact on the roof's integrity and functionality during installation. Safety Compliance & Site Preparation:
Adhere to strict safety protocols, including working at heights and using safety equipment. Conduct site assessments and prepare the installation site, ensuring all work areas are clean, safe, and hazard-free. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform post-installation inspections and regular maintenance checks on solar systems to ensure continued optimal performance. Troubleshoot and resolve any installation or system issues. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 2 years of experience in solar panel installation, roofing, or a related field. Experience with both residential and commercial solar installations. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, roofing structures, and solar technologies. Proven ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions. Ability to work well within a team environment and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. A valid driver's license and reliable transport are essential. Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
