DESCRIPTIONField Service Electrician (Power Generation)$5,000 sign on Bonus (conditions apply)Hourly rate + On call allowance + OT + Annual Bonus + Benefits + TOT VehicleMackay, QldWe are looking for a talented Field Service Electrician – Power Generation to join our team in Mackay specialising in Power Generation commissioning, repairs, and maintenance. You will service our industrial customers in Mackay and surrounding areas. Travel throughout QLD may be required depending on customer demands.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the field.Troubleshooting and diagnostics on Cummins and other manufacturers generatorsInstall and commission new gensets/systems, transfer switches & Digital Master Controllers (DMC)Maintaining and repairing switch gear & battery systemsTo be successful in this role you will need the following:Relevant and current QLD electrical trade qualificationFull unrestricted A Grade Electrical license in QLDExperience in a Field Service Role or similar is desirableA high level of mechanical aptitude and solid knowledge of internal combustion enginesProven ability to perform detailed fault finding on complex control systems with strong attention to detail, problem solving and a high level of accuracyIt would be advantageous but not necessary to have:Understanding of HV systems and operationsUnderstanding of Cummins PCC control systemsUnderstanding of industrial communication protocols and PLC'sCompensation and BenefitsNegotiable Roster – working with what's best for candidate and Power stationCompetitive hourly rate paid as a permanent salaryRelocation assistance offered from anywhere in Australia$5000 sign on bonus (Conditions apply)Tool of Trade Vehicle providedOvertime penaltiesSafety equipment / PPE providedUniforms provided and launderedTool & On call allowanceComprehensive Cummins product training providedIncome Protection continuance insuranceDiscounts with select private health insurance, PC software/hardware and a range of vehiclesAnnual remuneration reviewParticipation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) programA range of personal and professional benefitsOnsite parkingEmployee Assistance Program available to employeesPaid Parental leave (Conditions apply)At Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
