Power Design Lead , you will be responsible for managing the design, testing, and commissioning of power systems across various infrastructure projects. You will oversee all elements of power system design, ensuring seamless integration with other disciplines and delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions.Working closely with stakeholders, you will identify power upgrades required for the implementation of CBTC (Communications-Based Train Control) and the rollout of supporting power infrastructure. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with all relevant contractual obligations, including design assurance, systems engineering, configuration control, and regulatory requirements.About You:Power/Electrical Engineering or related qualifications.Minimum of 10 plus years of experience post degree completion.3 to 5 years of proven experience in technical management through all project delivery phases and experienced in leading an engineering team. Experience working with PTA on PTA projects will be favourable but is not a requirement.Strong expertise in power system design, including high-voltage (HV), medium-voltage (MV), and low-voltage (LV) systems.Experience with end-to-end delivery of large infrastructure projects including operator involvement and whole-of-life considerations through design and delivery into operations.High level understanding of systems engineering process and rail system safety analysis including process to SFAIRP and development of safety cases.3D CAD system experience.Proven leader, managing a project team within a large infrastructure project/programme.Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.Employee Benefits:Remuneration:
