About Our Client: Our client is seeking an experienced Information Technology/software development practitioner to enhance an existing Defence Microsoft 'Power Bi' application utilized by the Systems Program Office for Major Projects reporting and budget presentation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in tailoring data source linkages and the end-user interface to broaden accessibility and improve real-time reporting efficiency.
Initial 6 month contract 750 -850 per day Hybrid work environment
What You'll Do:
Define user interface requirements for Major Projects reporting and budget presentation. Enhance the user functionality of the existing Defence Microsoft Power Bi application and its data sources. Develop an intuitive Power Bi application tailored for Major Projects. Provide training to Systems Program Office users on utilizing the application effectively. Report directly to the SPO Major Projects Manager. Further develop the SPO Project Office Power Bi into a user-friendly application. Reduce risks associated with data inputs, linkages, and live data sources. Ensure compliance with CASG Air Domain - Acquisition Program Review requirements. Conduct training sessions for SPO end users on the developed Power Bi application. Create a comprehensive user manual guide to maintain and ensure accuracy of the Project Office Power Bi application. Requirements Software development and/or related demonstrated experience. Proven expertise in enhancing user interfaces and functionality. Familiarity with Microsoft Power Bi and its application in defense contexts. Ability to tailor applications to meet specific user needs. Experience in providing training and support to end users. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex data sources. Clearance Level Required: NV1 - can sponsor from Baseline to NV1 Benefits Not meeting all requirements?
