With immediate start availability, we have multiple positions available at various sites all based within 30km of Central Bendigo.
About Our Client: Our clients are highly respected leaders of the Australian eggs sector and the national food industry.
About the Role: As a Poultry Farm Worker, you will play a crucial role in our operations.
Your responsibilities will include farm maintenance, manual handling, ensuring animal welfare (birds), and maintaining a clean and tidy environment.
Don't worry if you don't have prior experience in this field; we value reliability and a strong work ethic above all.
The ideal candidate will be available on weekdays and be willing to commit to occasional weekend shifts.
To excel in this role, you should be physically fit and able to work on your feet for extended periods.
Adhering to quarantine standards is also essential, which means avoiding contact with live birds, chickens, or pigs.
Every morning, you will be required to follow a simple shower procedure before starting your workday.
Key Requirements: Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
Possession of a valid car license and reliable transportation.
Prior experience in a hatchery or farm work is desirable but not mandatory.
Good physical fitness and the ability to work on your feet throughout the day (subject to passing a medical screening including a drug and alcohol screening).
Compliance with quarantine standards, ensuring no contact with live birds, chickens, or pigs, and adherence to the prescribed shower procedures.
