About the opportunity
MUST BE ENROLLED IN A PHD OR MPHIL DEGREE IN THE SCHOOL OF PHYSICS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY
The School of Physics is currently seeking Honours graduates in all areas of Physics for a part-time (0.26 FTE) appointment at Associate Lectureship level.
You must be enrolled in a PhD or MPhil degree in the School of Physics and expect to remain enrolled until December 31st, 2025.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
assist with the development and delivery of undergraduate education
work on education-related projects aligned to the strategy of the School.
Training will be provided by School of Physics staff, including recipients of local and national teaching awards.
About you
We are looking for a Postgraduate Teaching Fellow who:
has an Honours degree in Physics (or equivalent)
is enrolled in a PhD or MPhil degree in the School of Physics at the University of Sydney
has a passion for teaching
possesses good time management and organisational skills
has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
is motivated and able to work independently
has experience using Canvas (or equivalent learning management system) and other online learning tools.
