YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE Postdoctoral Researcher - Cheng Laboratory24-month Fixed Term, Full Time Position1RA6 - 1RA10The successful applicant will be part of a small team to work on organ cross talk/metabolism, or developmental neurobiology related projects in Drosophila. This position is responsible for: Conducting experiments with careful and precise technique.Accurately analysing and interpreting experimental results.Participating in and presenting research results in lab meetings and hubs.Developing good working relationships with others both within the laboratory and within the Research division.This position is: Fixed-Term, Full-TimeOnsite presence essential at 305 Grattan Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000Basic Salary Range: $97,770.40 to $113,262.24 AUDAdvertising from Tuesday, 17th December 2024 to Tuesday, 14th January 2025Skills required include a PhD (either approved or submitted and under review), with a broad base of molecular, genetic, and cell biology techniques. The person will need to supervise students and technical staff in the lab. A strong background in cell/molecular/developmental biology and/or metabolism is essential.
