About the OpportunityCsiro is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our Robotics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading cutting-edge research in the design of novel shape-morphing soft robots for reef rehabilitation.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop new soft robotic systems, integrating state-of-the-art techniques in soft robotics, generative design, and machine learning.Conduct innovative and impactful research of strategic importance to Csiro, leading to novel and important scientific outcomes.Publish high-quality scientific and/or engineering papers in top-ranked international journals and conferences.Present research findings to a wide range of audiences and engage in outreach activities.RequirementsA doctorate in a relevant discipline area, such as Soft Robotics, Computational Design, Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics.Demonstrated experience in conducting research activities in a relevant topic area, including Soft Robotics, Marine Robotics, Machine Learning, and Generative Design.Ability to work effectively as part of a research team and communicate research outcomes effectively.About CsiroCsiro is Australia's national science agency, solving the greatest challenges through innovative science and technology.
