Located on the Camperdown Campus at the School of Psychology Be part of a leading international lab working on placebo and nocebo effects Base Salary, Level A, $105,314 - $116,679 p.a + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The School of Psychology is currently seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Placebo and Nocebo Effects. The position forms part of Professor Ben Colagiuri's laboratory and will involve conducting experimental research on placebo and nocebo effects in pain, nausea and other relevant conditions, with a particular interest in socially-induced nocebo effects.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Designing and conducting experimental research on placebo/nocebo effects, particularly socially-induced nocebo effects.
Applying and managing relevant ethics approvals.
Data handling and analysis.
Drafting and editing manuscripts for publication.
Supervising and supporting junior staff and students.
Contributing to the day-to-day running of the laboratory.

A PhD or near completion on placebo/nocebo effects.
Experience conducting placebo/nocebo research using social learning designs.
