As a Postal Delivery Officer with Speedy postal delivery, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of mail and parcels to our customers in the Karratha WA 6714 area. This is a full-time position that involves all aspects of the mail delivery business, i.e. parcel and mail sorting, sequencing and packing as well as routes and physically delivering items to homes and businesses. You will be an integral part of our logistics team, helping to maintain our reputation for reliable and speedy postal services.
What you'll be doing Sorting mail and parcels from our distribution centre and loading them onto your delivery vehicle Driving pre-determined routes to deliver items to customers' homes and businesses Ensuring all items are delivered safely and on time Providing excellent customer service and responding to any inquiries or issues that arise Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to deliveries Adhering to all relevant health, safety and compliance regulations What we're looking for Applicant must be an Australian citizen or Permanent resident Commitment to work for at least 3 years A valid R (class) motorcycle license and very good riding skills A valid driver's C (Class) licence and a good driving record Must have previous verifiable Postal delivery experience Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers Physical fitness and stamina to carry out the physical demands of the role, including working during summer times at high temperatures Organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy A flexible and adaptable approach to work What we offer At Speedy postal delivery, we are committed to the wellbeing and development of our employees.
