Definition Studios is looking for a Post Production Coordinator to join our growing team in Byron Bay.
As a Post Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the post-production workflow, coordinating between various departments, and ensuring that all aspects of the post production process are executed efficiently and on schedule. Your role will involve managing schedules, tracking progress, and facilitating communication among editors, sound engineers, visual effects teams, and other stakeholders.
You will be reporting to the Head of Post Production and Post Production Supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the post-production process, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of content.Coordinate and schedule post-production meetings, reviews and feedback sessions.Manage and track project timeline, deliverables, and milestones.Liaising between producers and the post team, made up of editors, colourists, sound designers, VFX artists and other team members, to ensure smooth workflow and communication.Handle administrative tasks such as organising and creating files, preparing reports and maintaining production documentation.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the post-production phase.About You:Proven experience as a Post Production Coordinator or in a similar role within the media or entertainment industry.Familiarity with post production workflows, equipment, and software.Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Ability to thrive in an ever evolving, fast paced environment.Skills in project management or event planning may also be relevant.About Definition Studios:Over the last eight years, Definition Studios has developed an impressive slate of documentary films and TV series, with a focus on nature and history for IMAX and Giant Screens worldwide.
