Pay: $26.65 – $32.06 per hour
Position Overview:
Centrepoint Midland Post Office is seeking an enthusiastic Australia Post Customer Service Officer to join our team.
As a Customer Counter Clerk, you'll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and handling a range of postal and financial transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities: Execute customer sales and service transactions efficiently. Manage and process cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS with precision. Promote and process a broad array of financial agency transactions via Australia Post's systems. Conduct identity services transactions with high accuracy. Promote products and services through up-selling, cross-selling, merchandising, and other activities. Accept mail items for lodgment and determine applicable charges accurately. Build strong, rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs. Prepare outgoing mail for dispatch, including presentation and stamp cancellations. Assist in administrative tasks such as stocktaking and record maintenance. Maintain a commitment to Australia Post's Occupational Health and Safety standards. Requirements: Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in sorting mail and processing transactions. Strong Communication Skills: Provide clear and friendly service to customers and collaborate with team members. Time Management: Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities. Reliability: Consistently demonstrate punctuality and a commitment to excellent service. Experience: Previous experience in a Post Office is preferred or similar experience. Schedule: Shift Availability: 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Start: ASAP Job Type: Part-time
