$113,918 to $134,596 (Level B) Fixed term, Full-time, Joondalup Campus Open to candidates with relevant work rights POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOW SCHOOL OF MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES $113,918 TO $134,596pa (ALEVB) JOONDALUP CAMPUS FULL-TIME, FIXED TERM Overview The Nutrition and Health Innovation Research Institute at Edith Cowan University is seeking a post-doctoral researcher to help drive our injury prevention research in tactical populations.
Specifically, this full-time post-doctoral research fellow role will manage the "Co-designing a program to prevent injuries and improve performance in Australian Police Force recruits" project, funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council, Western Australian Department of Health, and Western Australia Police Force.
The Police Force is essential to society, yet one-in-twenty recruits drop out due to injury.
This drop-out rate has substantial economic and workforce ramifications.
We have demonstrated that one-in-five recruits suffer an injury causing time-loss from work.
This project, spanning 5-years from January 2025, will involve the (i) injury prevention program development (ii) program implementation and (iii) program implementation evaluation.
The primary role of the project manager will include project oversight, including but not limited to human research ethics applications, risk management procedures, managing industry collaboration, managing consumer and stakeholder engagement, data collection, data management and manuscript preparation.
The project manager will be supported by an experienced research team, with a focus on mentoring and developing the research fellow.

Benefits & Remuneration This full time, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $113,918 to $134,596pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
