Fantastic opportunity to join the School of Medical Sciences as a Post-doctoral Research Associate in Parkinson's Disease.
Full-time, fixed term until June 2026.
Base Salary from $109,301 + 17% superannuation.

Our team of researchers lead key internationally competitive research from molecules to medicines, from patient to policy across a range of therapeutic areas.
We are seeking to appoint a Post-doctoral Research Associate in Parkinson's Disease within the School of Medical Sciences.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Conduct research, scholarly or professional activity, independently as part of a team, contributing to discipline knowledge.
Develop and refine independent research skills under the supervision of more senior academic staff.
Provide informal mentoring and advice to students within discipline.
Carry out administrative tasks and contribute to faculty/school meetings.
Contribute to a positive workplace culture in which diversity of thought, contribution, collaboration, excellence, and achieving outcomes are valued and enabled.
Understand and contribute to furthering the university and faculty/school strategic agenda.
Undertake other duties and contribute to projects appropriate within the classification level as required.
About you
PhD in a relevant field is required.
Demonstrated understanding of Parkinson's or other neurodegenerative diseases.
Experience conducting original research into Parkinson's or other neurodegenerative diseases.
Demonstrated understanding of the subject-matter within the discipline.
Experience with conducting research using human biosamples.
Knowledge of quantitative research methods.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
